Our 3D Designer will give you the ability to choose your structure’s size, layout, colors, roofing type, and much more. You’ll even have the option to add side paneling, garage doors, walk-in doors, and anything you need to create a steel building that works for you.
However, if you want to get a quick idea of your metal building’s cost before you call, here’s a handy way to do it:
Use the 3D Designer to create the central section of your structure. This central structure is typically at least 3 feet taller than any lean-tos you intend to connect. Once you have your design complete, make sure to save it.
Essentially, a lean-to is just a carport split in half. So, if you’d like an accurate price on a 12’ lean-to attachment on one side, you can separately price out a 24’ carport and divide that cost by half.
After saving your main building, re-open the building tool and start a new project. Select the right leg height for your lean-to so that the top of your structure will connect to the main building. Once complete, save this building design
Except for a few connecting fees, the total price for both of your structures should be accurate to the design quote of your complete metal building.
Lean-tos are used for more than you might think! Take a look at some of the popular types we offer at Warrior:
A lean-to porch provides additional covered outdoor space, perfect for enjoying the outdoors while staying sheltered from the elements. This design is ideal for outdoor seating, equipment storage, or creating a shaded area for relaxation.
Adding a lean-to to your garage offers more covered parking or storage space. They’re great for protecting vehicles and ATVs or for additional storage space for tools and equipment.
A lean-to shelter is a great option for horse owners who want a reliable, shaded area for their animals. This structure creates a comfortable space for livestock and offers protection from the sun, rain, and wind.
A lean-to barn provides extra storage for farming equipment, hay, or feed. It’s a cost-effective solution that can help you expand your barn’s capacity without requiring an entirely new building.
Lean-tos on utility buildings can give you storage space for gardening tools, outdoor equipment, seasonal items, and more. Keep your things carefully organized and maximize space and productivity all in one fell swoop.
Buying a lean-to metal building or adding to your current one is a big undertaking, so it makes sense that you have a few questions. We’ve answered some of the most commonly asked ones to give you a leg up on your buying process:
